Knights clinch 66-14 victory in first home game

The Knights started off the fall football season with an impressive 66-14 win over Santa Cruz high school. The Sea of Gold showed up in full force, proudly representing Menlo’s school spirit.

The Knights first touchdown was scored by Senior Max Parker, followed by a second by Senior Connor Stastny. By the second quarter, the Knights had clinched a commanding 23-0 lead.

Looking sharp early on, the Knights continued their hot streak with four more touchdowns from Matt Bradley, Jack Heneghan, Heru Peacock and Wiley Osborne and making the score 50-7 at halftime.

With their impressive 66-14 win in the home season opener, the Knights have started off this season strong. Hopefully, their success will continue in their next game against Mission High School on Saturday, September 8th.
