    Sports Updates: Recent and Upcoming Games

    Varsity girls golf had their first match against Harker at Los Lagos at 3:30 pm on Monday, September 17th, where they lost 231-222. The team then beat Notre Dame San Jose at San Jose Muni on Tuesday, September 18, with a score of 225-242. Their next match is Monday, September 24 against Castilleja at Palo Alto Muni at 3:30 pm, where they are going in with a 1-1 record.

    Cross country had a meet on Saturday, September 15 at the Chieftain Invitational in Toro Park, Salinas, where sophomore Elizabeth Lacy placed 4th and junior Matt Myers placed 11th. Their next meet is on Saturday, September 29 at the Stanford Invitational (varsity only). This tournament is located at Stanford and will begin at 9:00 am.

    Varsity girls volleyball beat Menlo-Atherton at Menlo-Atherton 3-1 last Thursday, September 13. They continued to play well, beating Mercy Burlingame at Menlo 3-0 on Tuesday, September 18. They played against Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep on Thursday, September 20 at Sacred Heart Cathedral at and lost 1-3. Their next match is at the Chris Chandler Invitational tournament at 8:00 am. They are going into the tournament with a record of 6-4.

    Junior Adam Yecies joins seniors Chris Atkenson and Wyatt Rouser on the Mission High School Field, where the knights won 56-24.

    Varsity football beat Mission High School at Mission with a score of 56-24. They now have a record of 2-0. Their next game is on Friday, September 21 against Half Moon Bay at Half Moon Bay at 7 pm.

    Varsity girls tennis lost to Saint Francis on Friday, September 14 at Menlo, with a score of 1-6. They also played against Monta Vista High School at Menlo on Wednesday, September 19, but lost with a score of 0-9 – they now have a record of 4-4. They are participating in the Dana Hills Tournament this weekend (Friday September 21 and Saturday September 22) in Southern California.

    Varsity girls water polo beat Mills High School at Mills 11-4. They also beat Half Moon Bay at Half Moon Bay on Tuesday, September 18 with a score of 14-11. They then played against Hillsdale High School at Menlo on Thursday, September 20 and lost 6-8. Their next match is at the Amanda McDonald Tournament against Castilleja at Menlo. They are going into the tournament with a record of 2-1.

    Varsity boys water polo played in the Roche Memorial Tournament on Friday September 14 against Sir Francis Drake and won 9-6. They also played against San Ramon Valley in the tournament on Saturday, September 15 and lost 5-8. This match was followed by a match played against El Camino where the knights lost 8-10. The team also had a match against Saint Francis High School on Tuesday, September 18 where they lost 11-12, so they now have a 3-3 record. Their next match is against Jesuit High School at Menlo at 5:45 on Saturday, September 22.
