The Dos and Don’ts of Halloween

The Dos and Don’ts of Halloween

It’s that time of the year again! Spooky cobwebs cover houses, pumpkins are found in every place imaginable, and candy is on the minds of all. With Halloween fast approaching, people need to remember their responsibility to follow the Do’s and Don’ts of Halloween.

The Do’s:
Do something fun with friends! Don’t just sit at home watching Netflix, you can do that every other night of the year.
Eat all the candy you want!
Make sure to find a hiding place for your candy. Although they say they’re dieting, parents will steal your candy.
Be creative with your costume! Think outside the box.
Watch a good horror movie. Just make sure to lock all the doors after!
Carve some pumpkins. Make a fun afternoon out of it!
Make sure to get at least one box of Trader Joe’s pumpkin bread mix while it’s still in stores!

The Don’ts:
Don’t exclude someone from doing a costume with you.
Do not worry about counting calorie and skimping on candy… save that for the the rest of the year.
Don’t worry about releasing your inner little kid and going trick-or-treating because who doesn’t love free candy?
If you live in a trick-or-treating neighborhood, don’t give the kids raisins or toothbrushes instead of candy.
Don’t be too riskay when choosing your costume.
Don’t be too scary… you have to draw a line at some point.
Don’t be tardy to the party!
