On Tuesday, the Knights tennis team defeated The King’s Academy 7-0. Menlo clinched its 22nd consecutive league championship on Senior Day. The Knights celebrated their beloved seniors: Sid Chari, Bo Leschly, Clark Safran, David Quezada, Ian Costello and Roshan Chandna.
The Knights remain undefeated in league, improving their league record to 12-0. Bo Leschly defeated Chetan Chokski 7-6, (7-2), 6-2; Clark Safran defeated Kevin Li 6-0, 6-1; Brandon Aprill defeated Jacob Yu 6-0, 6-1; John Kim defeated Nathan Ip 6-0, 6-0. In doubles, David Quezada-Ian Costello defeated Brandon Peercy-Ivan Chen 6-0, 6-2; Roshan Chandna-Justin Tian defeated Daniel Liu-Sam Oginara 6-1, 6-3; Luca St. Goar-Kevin Kafayi defeated Russell Cheng-Allen Lin 6-0, 6-1.
The Knights next game is today against Woodside Priory. Harker is sitting in second place in league with a 9-2 record. Menlo has now won 262 consecutive league matches. Menlo has also won its 29th league title overall.
