On Monday, Menlo girls’ lacrosse got its third consecutive win, with a West Bay Athletic League victory over Castilleja 18-8.
Menlo has now improved to 6-1 in the WBAL and 8-5 overall. The Knights came out to a hot start, going into halftime up 11-1. The Knights had six players score. Junior Bella Scola led the team with five goals. Junior Charlotte Swisher scored four times; junior Sophie Scola and freshman Tatum Constant each posted a hat trick. Haverford-bound senior Abby Wolfenden scored twice and had two assists, while sophomore Page Wolfenden scored once and had two assists.
In net, sophomore Alyssa Sahami made five saves. Juniors Lauren Ferguson and Charlotte Swisher both won six draws. Menlo’s next game is against Mitty on Friday.
