The play of the game came with 25 seconds left on the clock when Patriots’ Malcom Butler picked off Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson’s pass on the goal line to end the last minute drive and win the game.

Both Japanese journalists Kenji Goto and Haruna Yakuwa have been executed by ISIS. After demands for the release of convicted would-be suicide bomber Sajida al-Rashawi were not met, a 67 second long clip was released showing Kenji Goto kneeling beside Jihadi John, named for his British accent, who promised that the terror has just begun for the Japanese people. The Prime minister of Japan Shinzo Abe has promised 200 million dollars in nonlethal aid to countries fighting ISIS. These two journalists are the latest Western civilian casualties in an increasingly bloody conflict.
