To wrap up Creative Arts Week, there was a Litmag Slam during lunch that featured student and faculty poets and musicians. Among the performers, junior Alex Morgan recited an explosive poem that was inspired by actor Daniel Radcliffe’s “Alphabet Aerobics.” Morgan was accompanied by his twin brother Aaron on the drums. Aaron also accompanied water polo coach and philosophy teacher Jack Bowen, who presented an original poem titled “Screenwriters’ Blues,” which focuses on his experience living in Los Angeles before moving to the Bay Area. Freshman Mitsuka Kiyohara participated in her first Litmag slam ever, performing the poem “Moving water.” Alongside her were freshmen Andromeda Kepecs on the violin and Ayla Seddighnezhad on the piano. Other performers included sophomores Sarah Fujimori, Leo Jergovic, and William Akis, junior Griffin Thomas, and seniors Will Buxton, Thomas Woodside, and Alejandro Diaz-Ross.
