On Sunday, March 3, Menlo students put together the third annual Menlo Voices for Hope, a benefit concert aimed at raising awareness for mental health through the arts. This year’s concert explored the intersection of music, food and technology and took place in the Spieker Center. The performances included singing, chamber orchestra, poetry, dancing and three speakers, including Head of School Than Healy. The concert raised $16,500 for the Children’s Health Council and Menlo students received 2 CE credits for attending.
Sophomore Carissa Satuito sang “Snow Angel” by Reneé Rapp alongside fellow sophomore Simone Lev. “Especially since I [performed] last year I just felt really connected with the values and overall goals of the [concert],” Satuito said. “It felt really good spreading awareness and performing for something I believe in.”
