Many students showed off their muscles sporting their bro tanks and other athletic wear today. “Muscle Monday” opened spirit week with various activities; push-up competition, arm-wresting, and Girls’ Football all took place today.
Senior Michael Reed earned the seniors a spirit point winning the arm-wrestling, along with sophomore Charlie Ferguson winning the push-up competition. On the girls’ side of the activities, junior Schuyler Tilney Volk won the arm-wrestling competition and sophomore Darcy Matsuda for the push-up competition.
During lunch, the senior girls rallied against the junior girls in the Girls’ Football (powderpuff) game, dominating with a 16-0 shutout. Senior quarterback Olivia Ferrando threw an amazing game, along with McKenzie Doyle with an amazing defensive play.
Tomorrow, spirit week continues with “Story Book Tuesday.” The freshmen are Wizard of Oz, sophomores are Sherlock Holmes, juniors are the infamous Brinkley, and seniors are Fairytale.
If any person out-dresses both seniors Jack Marren and Alexandra Walker, the two will have their faces smashed in to two pies (by the winner).
