The Lady Knights beat Carmel 3-0 in the CCS quarterfinals

On Saturday Nov. 15, the girls volleyball team played against Carmel, and came out strong with a 3-0 win. The Lady Knights dominated the first set, but trailed in the starts of both the second and third sets. However, they managed to side out and grab the win. This win proceeds their game on Nov. 12 against King City where they also won 3-0 in the CCS playoffs.
The Lady Knights are lead by seniors Elisa Merten and Lida Van der Meer, and look to advance to the CCS Championships after Wednesday’s game at 5:30. After winning CCS and NorCal last year, the volleyball team hopes to repeat this success in the upcoming weeks.
