    Boys Tennis:
On May 15, the Menlo boys tennis team clinched their 7th straight CCS championship with a 5-2 win over Bellarmine. This marks head coach Bill Shine’s 13th CCS win in his 19 years as head coach of the team. On May 19, doubles teams of Gunther Matta/Vikram Chari and Dylan Pace/Kylee Santos took on Aragon and Saint Francis in the quarterfinals of the WBAL individuals. Matta and Chari went onto win with quarterfinal, semifinal, and final matches to take home the championship. The Knights will head to Sacramento on May 22 and 23 for NorCals.

    Girls Lacrosse:
After an undefeated league season, the Knights headed into the WBAL tournament on May 14 to face Burlingame High. The Knights 15-4 win over Burlingame gave them a spot in the finals against rival school Sacred Heart Prep. During the regular season, the Knights swept the Gators in twice by a combined score of 38-13. The WBAL finals was no different. Menlo beat SHP 17-9 to give them them a tournament championship and their 9th league title.

    Track and Field:
The Knights had another successful season as their talent showed in the events. Beginning with the WBAL 1A on March 18, the girls finished second overall, while the boys finished third overall. Their performance propelled them into the WBAL 2B meet on April 15, where the girls finished first and the boys finished third. On May 15, Sacred Heart Prep hosted the WBAL finals. There, the girls finished first again, while the boys finished fifth. The Knights will enter CCS semifinals on May 23, followed by the finals on May 29. The Knights have the opportunity to go to the CIF state championships on June 5 and 6 depending on how they perform at CCS.
