The Menlo boys varsity golf team fell to Sacred Heart Prep 205-197 on Thursday, March 7. The team’s record now stands at 2-2 on the season. At Menlo’s home course, Baylands Golf Links in Palo Alto, senior Eric Yun led the Knights with a personal best nine hole score of 30, seven strokes und

er par. Nominated by Mercury News  Yun began his round with six birdies and an eagle. “It felt great,” he said. “A lot of golf is mental so just being really focused throughout the round was important, and playing with [senior] Julian [Brooks] and the Sacred Heart guys really helped keep the pressure off.”

The team is looking forward to a retreat in Carmel over the long weekend and will return to action for a match on Tuesday, March 12 at Baylands against The King’s Academy.
