Top 10 places to go off campus for lunch

Upperclassmen: here is a list of places to go eat!

1. Country Corner
3207 Alameda De Las Pulgas, Menlo Park, CA 94025. Just a quick 5-10 minute drive from Menlo!

Here you can enjoy anything and everything from their deli and groceries. 

 2. Su Hong
630 Menlo Avenue, Menlo Park, CA 94025. You can be at Su Hong in a short car drive- less than 10 minutes.

Of course you can order a variety of Chinese food here for yourself or to share with a friend!

3. Sprout Café
168 University Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94301. Going to Sprout is definitely better with a free attached to lunch, but if you do OrderAhead it is manageable to make the 15 minute car ride down to Palo Alto.

At Sprout you can make your own salad, sandwich or even something else on their menu.

 4. Le Boulanger
720 Santa Cruz Avenue, Menlo Park, CA 94025. You can either walk or drive to Le Boulanger. A quick five minute drive or a 10-15 minute walk from campus!

Here you can get an assortment of sandwiches, soups, salads and more!

5. Draegers
1010 University Drive, Menlo Park, CA 94025. Definitely a doable trip during lunch! Just 5-10 minutes to drive.

You can get anything here – you can make your own salad, pick up a pre-made salad, have some soup, make a sandwich, and even take their hot pre-made lunches!

6. Jeffrey’s Hamburgers
888 El Camino Real, Menlo Park, CA 94025. Going to Jeffrey’s will only take about 10 minutes to drive, so definitely try it out.

Jeffrey’s offers a wide variety of burgers, and other classic diner food. Even if you are a vegetarian, they have plenty of options for you!

7. Ike’s Place
2655 BroadwayRedwood City, CA. This trip may be better suited for a long lunch, but it is possible to make the 10-15 minute trek during lunch.

Ike’s has a huge selection of sandwiches and meets a lot of dietary restrictions!

8. Chipotle
180 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, CA. Take the 10 minute drive to Stanford Mall for the tasty Mexican food.

Here you can make your own tacos, burritos, and more just the way you like it!

9. Posh Bakery
869 Santa Cruz Avenue, Menlo Park, CA 94025. Right down to Santa Cruz Ave, only about a five minute drive or a 10-15 minute walk!

The signature thing at Posh is to get a bagel. With their wide variety of flavors and spreads, you have so many options!

10. Avanti
3536 Alameda De Las Pulgas, Menlo Park, CA 94025. Avanti is only a 10 minute trip for Menlo, definitely a doable drive during lunch – and they are usually speedy with their service.
